Size Information:

In General: For each item we offer, the catalog contains a brief product description, its composition, size information and an item identification number to be used in ordering.

Urn Capacity: For urns and other containers, the item's cremains (ashes) capacity in cubic inches is listed. An accurate determination of the required volume of a container can be made from a pet's body weight as follows:

One pound of body weight = one cubic inch of cremains
Thus a fifty pound dog will require a cremains container with at least 50 cubic inches of capacity.

Keepsakes: Keepsakes are a special catagory of small urns for use when only a small portion of a pet's cremains are retained. Most keepsakes are designed to retain less than 10 cubic inches of cremains.

Keepsake Jewelry: Like keepsakes, keepsake jewelry is designed to hold only a very small portion of a pet's cremains. In addition, these items are intended to be worn like any other piece of fine jewelry. Consequently their volume is limited to less than one cubic inch.

Personalization Options - Engravings and Line Art

Font Selection: Many of our items may be personalized to suit your individual taste and desire to remember your pet. The most common personalization option involves engraving or embossing a sentiment, your pet's name and a third line (often your pet's birth and death years) onto the surface of the product or a name plate. Although some products are available with only a singe font choice, in general you may select one of the fonts illustrated to the right. The number of lines of text (1 to 4) and the number of characters (usually 25) depends on the individual product.

Name Plates: Many products are designed to accept either engraving directly onto their surface or onto a decorative metal name plate. Seven styles of name plates are available for these products. In addition, most name plates can include line art engraving as well as your remembrance messages.

Line Art: In addition, some products, particularly plaques and items that allow plates, provide for the inclusion of line art engraving directly onto their surface. There are twenty-three figures available that cover many of the more popular breeds of dogs as well as more generalized figures suitable for non-breed specific dogs and cats.

Other Options: Please know that we will make every attempt to accommodate your specific personalization request. Given the limitations inherent in some items, there may be instances when what you desire is simply not possible to produce.
